Funny you should ask that question. After looking around at different sites, it seem that the end of JB Hunt, and companies like them, is closer than what it was a year ago.

Why is that? Simple. New drivers no-longer can afford to "stick it out" like these companies want them too. No longer can the new driver get screwed by a company like this, and word not get around. The biggest help to putting a end to this bullshit?

You got it. The internet. More and more truckers now use the internet for information while they are on the road. They carry the laptops of freedom with them everywhere they go.....and now cellular companies providing cards for them to connect anywhere on the road.

So when a company like JB Hunt goes out of their way to screw a driver over, and new job can be found before the driver even parks the truck for the last time. And with the many of trucker boards that are out there, they have ample time to report the company to all other drivers as a warning. The internet then serves as a great big "DON'T GO THERE, THEY'LL SCREW YOU OVER!" sign.

Of course, there is a few who will ignore the sign, only to find out for themselfs that the driver was trying to warn others, not cry about a company.

I was one of those drivers when I first went to JB Hunt. I ignored the warnings. Now I can only hope that my warning will be heard by drivers who are smarter than I was.

As far as JB Hunt, and the rest of these companies are concern, I just got this to say. Change your ways, or go out of business. It may take a few years, but your running out of drivers who haven't heard about you. And I wouldn't wait untill you can no longer can find anyone who will drive for you. Just a thought. The pennies you spend today to keep your drivers happy will save your future. Or better yet, don't do anything. A future without you might be a better future for all truck drivers.
